Websites/Online Tutor for Pre-Calculus? | Yahoo Answers Last year in grade 10 my school hired a math teacher that was not licensed to http://www.tutornewyorkcity.com/nyc-math-tutoring.htm teach in our specified province. Because he failed to transfer his license over in the period of time he was given, he was fired by December. In order for us to complete the Math 10 course, Distanced Learning courses were sent in. Basically homeschool courses. That meant the students had to restart the whole school year in December and finish the course in a few months thanks to Math 10 being semestered and not linear throughout the whole school year. By the end of the semester only me and another student passed (albeit with a 61%), but clearly rushing over a whole course which contained the foundations of pre-calculus wasn't enough preparation. So I'm wondering if there are any websites that have clear guides to the basics of pre-calculus and its various formulas or if there is anybody who I could http://privatetutor.info/ e-mail every once and a while for explanations. I can usually understand the formulas pretty quickly after I get a thorough explanation but I've been playing catch-up since last year and really wanna get back ontop of my math. I'm not asking for anybody to do my homework for me. Just tell me how to do my homework. I'm currently at a new school this year and I get a lot of help from friends but they're not always around and I just need a quick-access source that I can figure things out from.
