KAREN KENNEDY

I am extremely interested in a position as a Graphic Designer and believe my 10+ years’ experience in developing/designing websites and corporate branding, coupled with my extensive use and knowledge of the Adobe Create Suite would make me a strong match for your requirements. I can bring to your organization:

Creative insight into designing websites and corporate branding Ability to design websites in Dreamweaver and Photoshop Ability to create graphics in Photoshop and Illustrator Work with other on the team to ensure the best results to meet the client needs

I believe these highlights along with those detailed in my enclosed resume would enable me to contribute to the continued success of your organization. Although the résumé I uploaded demonstrates a very strong Information Technology background including quality assurance, training, programming, user application support and technical writing, my employment history also includes an artistic side wherein I have created websites, interactive online training, corporate branding and other marketing tools. The extent of my artistic and creative skills is not fully reflected without taking into consideration that I developed and largely use these skills outside of my professional career background.

I am extremely proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Illustrator) and Adobe Lightroom. I am also a digital photographer and have developed my own website. On my website I have a portfolio page set up that showcases my web designing and Graphics/Flash banners examples: http://www.photocontemplations.com

I also possess an innate ability to easily learn software programs as evidenced by the list at the end of my résumé which includes the Adobe Creative Suite, the Flash based interactive content platform Flypaper, Visual Basics for Applications (VBA) programming language, HTML and the Microsoft Suite of programs to name a few of them. This ability has played a key role in the development of my diverse skill set which spans the artistic to the technical.

I am currently available for employment as my former employer underwent a reduction in force and because of the restructuring, mainly my position type was eliminated. I am currently seeking a new opportunity, and would appreciate the chance to discuss my skills, background and how I can meet the needs of your firm in person.

Please feel free to contact me via email ([email protected]) at a time of your convenience to discuss my background in pursuit of a Graphic Designer role. Thank you for your consideration. Best Regards,

Karen Kennedy
