What is Black Friday? Do you have it in your country?

In last few years(starting from 2013 to be precise),Black

Friday Sales have started way before Friday-with some stores

starting their Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving day & some

even starting on Wednesday. It would not be surprising to

see Black Friday sale starting from Monday on that week.

Therefore, revenue wise this is NOT the best day for stores.

Biggest sales day now include Thanksgiving day, Green

Monday and Cyber Monday.

The day After Thanksgiving (Friday) is known as Black

Friday. This also is unofficially or officially start of holiday

shopping season. Almost all stores come out with Door

Buster Sales with early bird special to attract consumers

to their stores. People stand in line hours before store is

opened, to grab the bargain of the year. Almost every

store has something that interests every one. For bargain

hunters, if there is a biggest festival in a year, that would

be, no doubt, the Black Friday.

Story of Sarah's Thanksgiving 2015

"This Thanksgiving I will drive 6 hours to Kansas with my mom and dad.  We are going to my aunt and

uncle’s house where we will see my grandmother. She is 90 years old and she just moved out of her home

on our family’s farm.  My younger cousins, Kristen and Courtney will also be there.  My brother Andrew will

not be there.  He will stay in New York with his girlfriend.

When we prepare Thanksgiving dinner I will make the cranberry sauce.  I will help my mom and aunt cook

the other foods too.  The men in the family will watch football games on TV, but I will not do that.  I

will watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.  I will help set the table and I will fold the napkins. I know

how to fold the napkins nicely because I used to work in a restaurant.

Before dinner I will change into nice clothes.  Then my family will gather at the table and we will say a

blessing and give our thanks.  Then we will eat all the delicious food and have nice conversation.  I will not

eat any peas because I hate the taste of peas.  When dinner is over I will help wash some of the dishes

and put the leftover food in the refrigerator to eat another time.  The next day I will wake up very early and

teach English class and then drive back to Iowa with my mom and dad."
