Guess the rhyme Read rhyming books and get the children to call out the words at the end of sentences. Writing Please refer to home learning sheet. Physical development . Use the playdough challenge cards along with playdough to develop your child’s fine motor skills. Encourage your child to roll, pinch, pat and poke the playdough with their hands and fingers. Continue P.E. with Joe using the Joe wicks exercise log where you can record how much exercise your child is getting. You can also use the PE cards and move work out cards to support your child. These can be used each day, you may wish to focus on an activity card each day. Feel free to add your own exercises to the ones given. Please refer to home learning sheet.To complete a rubbing; place a leaf under a piece of paper and take a wax crayon and use this on its side and rub gently back and forth to create an impression of the leaf. This can be done with several different types of leaves or use the leaves to create a collage as seen below.

Other As you do not have internet access to send in photographs of your child’s work when you collect next week’s learning we would be happy to receive a piece of work to show what your child has done, this can be left in the office for a member of the Reception team to collect and returned to you the following week.If you have any queries please contact the school and we will be happy to help.
