Parachute Popcorn : using a parachute and different types of sports balls, challenge the group to beat personal records for various types of contests. This could include: how long the balls stay on the parachute without falling off; how many times in a row a ball can be caught in the air after being thrown from the parachute; countdowns where the 'kernels' try and keep the balls on the parachute as the other participants try and pop it off. Catch, Pass, Repeat : starting with one ball, pass the ball to any person standing in the circle who is not standing directly next to you and has not already received the ball. Parachute Popcorn: using a parachute and different types of sports balls, challenge the group to beat personal records for various types of contests. This could include: how long the balls stay on the parachute without falling off; how many times in a row a ball can be caught in the air after being thrown from the

parachute; countdowns where the 'kernels' try and keep the balls on the parachute as the other participants try and pop it off.

Catch, Pass, Repeat: starting with one ball, pass the ball to any person standing in the circle who is not standing directly next to you and has not already received

the ball. Continue this same pattern with multiple balls circulating at a time, increasing the amount by 1 ball every time the entire group successfully catches every ball. Try and catch as many as 5 balls without one being dropped. Start all

over from the beginning every time a ball hits the ground.

Human Foosball: position chairs on the playing field for foosball players to sit in for the entirety of the game. Line up an equal amount of players as offense,

defense, and goalie, facing in opposite directions as their opponent. Lengthen goals to increase scoring opportunities for both teams. Other children can

participate as scorekeepers, referees, time keepers, sideline passers, etc. After a goal, balls are rolled in the middle 'foosball style' to begin play.

Cross the River: have all students line up on multiple mats at one end of the room. Use the mats as 'boats' to cross the river. If anybody steps in the 'water' (basically anything besides the surface of the mats) the entire team starts from the beginning, costing valuable seconds as the time counts down. Time limits can be applied depending on the age and abilities of the group. Obstacles can
