Trends are not always a showcase of what is best, but it show what is happening in the world. Design simplicity is for sure one of the most important trend this year. These days we are all waiting for the final version of the IOS7 to see how Apple manage to leave behind skeuomorphism to enter to the flat world(yes, flat design is the new web 2.0). But what is great to see is that “content first” is the most important trend. And is great because with that comes another important topics, like accessibility and usability, so is clear the designers are pushing forward to user centered design.TRANSCRIPT
