WEALTH YOGAS IN A HOROSCOPE

Dhana yogas as they are known are very important yoga

combinations of a horoscope and an aspect of astrology which is must

for every individual. Every one has a simple question to ask the

astrologer and that is Will I be wealthy; will I be r ich: what will I be?

What is the opposite of Dhana yoga? It is known as Daridra yoga.

There are a set of yoga combinations which indicate poverty andpenury in a horoscope. None want them.

The 2nd house in a horoscope indicates wealth by self earning but

some other houses also have a say in this matter. The 9th house is an

important trine and is also called as the house of fortune (searching

wealth in a foreign land). The 10th House of a horoscope indicates the

type of profession or activity that will be undertaken to earn this

wealth. The 1st 5th and 9th are in trines to each other and are the

tripod of fortune. The 11th is the house of profit and is 7th from the 5th

house, so all benefic planets placed in 5th would boost the strength of

11th house. The 8th house in a horoscope indicates unearned wealth,

such as lottery, or jackpot or legacy. It is 7th from the 2nd, so benefic

planets in 8th will boost the 2nd house in the horoscope.

The significator of wealth and various types of gains is Jupiter. So

Jupiter should be strong in respect of house of wealth to have a

substantial gain. So planets occupying the 2nd or aspecting it, the

lord(owner) of the second house, the navamsa occupied by the lord of

2nd and the significator of second(Jupiter) are the main considerations

with regard to the wealth of a person.

Some of the dhana yogas are formed in a horoscope when:

The 1st, 2nd and 11th houses are occupied by their owners.

The lord of 2nd in the 11th or the 11th lord in his own house which is a

friendly or an exaltation house for him.

The Lords of 1st, 2nd and 11th occupy the ascendant.

The Moon in 2nd aspected by Venus

Mercury in 2nd aspected by a benefic planet.

Lords of 2nd, and 11th occupy the quadrants from lagna.

Mutual exchange of houses by lords of 2nd and 11th.
