Who: Do you work with students, age 14-18 in middle school or high school, who struggle with learning difficulties? If you work with students with ADHD, a learning disability (LD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or traumatic brain injury (TBI), we want to hear from you! What: Earn $50 to attend a 2-hour focus group with other educators and parents to share your opinions. When: The sessions will be scheduled in Winter 2018. CBIRT creates online training and informational programs for persons with traumatic brain injury, families, educators, and health professionals. We are developing a web-based training resource for students with learning difficulties. This study is funded by: U.S. Department of Health and Human Services/National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research Grant # 90BISA0017-01-00 to Cogmetric, with a subaward to Dr. Christina Karns and Dr. Ann Glang at CBIRT. The Center on Brain Injury Research and Training has a business relationship with the company, Cogmetric, LLC. Cogmetric, LLC is a privately held company that provides psychological services such as counseling, testing and coaching for students with learning difficulties, conducts research projects in the area of neuropsychological testing. Cogmetric, LLC may commercialize the TRACK application in the future.
