Working out an environmental impact study for the reconstruction of municipal waste-water treatment plant of Velika Gorica is the first step towards the solution of many long-term problems in plant’s management.

Taking into account that one of the most important natural resources in the area occupied by the Town of Velika Gorica is a large underground drinking water basin, this should be the way towards ensuring its long-term protection.

Working out an environmental impact study for the reconstruction of municipal waste-water treatment plant of Velika Gorica is the first step towards the solution of many long-term problems in plant’s management.

Taking into account that one of the most important natural resources in the area occupied by the Town of Velika Gorica is a large underground drinking water basin, this should be the way towards ensuring its long-term protection.

Current state of progress:

• collecting documentation needed for the environmental impact study – existing technical documentation acquired and copied

• working out the documentation for the bidding, terms of reference – in progress

• solving the problem of resignation of the project supervisor for Town of Velika Gorica – consultations needed with contracting authoritiy
