Because this event was dedicated to GC’s and the participants and speakers were mostly GC’s, we as in-house counsels felt more comfortable and special that there is a platform for us to discuss about our needs, room for improvements and strengths. The GC Summit was, for two days, the place to be if you were an In-House Lawyer. There was such great concentration of beautiful legal minds in one place; so many opportunities to listen to and brainstorm with some of the most experienced legal persons in various businesses, on issues so common to all of us, but yet again issues that create so many complex situations and that make our life hard. On the other hand we were also given a chance to associate with some of the worlds greatest law firms; from an In-House lawyers perspective: great opportunity to get some free advice. The GC Summit was a place to be for those two days, and I love that I took part in it.
