Waiting To Be FreedIf one may gaze over subcontinents history he/she may realize that the people indigenous to this land enjoyed a, to some extent, sumptuous lifestyle.

But after the independence of our great country Pakistan, came foreign influence, great enmity from rival countries and a once steady and ever growing decline in economy. With the passage of time these factors grew more intense. Two battles with India, dismemberment of East Pakistan manifest this antipathy for Pakistan. Even through these ordeals Pakistan managed to get away bearing scars in the form of weekend economy, martial laws etc.

This brings me to 21st century. At the turn of century the world may had seen some new technologies like internet, mobile phones etc. but for Pakistan it was another disaster waiting to happen i.e. the fourth martial law and a detrimental decline in economy. The days were living in the situation is even worse and every time the government increases the prices as a consequence of corruption, poor industry, energy crisis etc. it has to bear the brunt of the public.

As hitherto jotted the reason for all this is because that the government is overwhelmed by foreign emissaries who are the enemy of this country. Otherwise the resources and the land bestowed to us boasts limit less potential which can be used for power generation, Industrial establishment and economic growth etc. One doesnt need to mention our resources as we all are well acquainted with what we have and what we can do.

In the end the discussion concludes with the fact that in spite of having all these opportunities what we really need is someone who could muster up courage and fling these meddling foreigners and this hypo critic government to where they came from. In fact some adumbrate that Pakistan has a bright future while some think antithetic to this notion and think that we havent seen enough to cause a revolt and bring a revolution. All we are doing is waiting to be freed.
