Enjoy the spectacular King Kamehameha Statue Lei Draping on June 11 and watch King Kamehameha Celebration Floral Parade on June 14. This colorful celebration honors the reign of King Kamehameha, who was responsible for uniting the Hawaiian Islands under his rule in 1795. The Parade starts at 9 am at King and Richards Streets in downtown Honolulu; then it will move down King Street to Punchbowl Street and Ala Moana Boulevard towards Waikiki to Kalakaua Avenue, ending at the Queen Kapiolani Regional Park. Parade is estimated to be completed by 11:30 a.m. Parade route roads will be closed, but cross streets may open as the Parade passes that area.

The Hoolaulea will be held this year at the Kakaako Makai Gateway Park from 10am- 3pm.

Each Sunday during summer months, Waikiki Beach Walk presents the Na Mele No Na Pua Sunday Showcase concerts, featuring some of Hawaii’s best known island artists. Rediscover the warmth and aloha of the islands amid Waikiki's urban vibe! All performances will take place at the Plaza Stage on the lawn and are free to the public. Enjoy some of Hawaii's most beloved performers in a casual, open-air setting.
