New VNL hoods and bumper partsThe completely reshaped front end of the Volvo VNL features improved airfl ow along with state-of-the-art LED lighting. The Genuine Painted Parts Program now offers pre-painted hoods and bumper parts for the vehicle that’s been called “the shape of trucks to come.”

Pre-painted tow-hook covers and bumper end caps are available as an add-on option with the purchase of any VNL hood. As with all Genuine Painted Parts offerings, new VNL hoods and bumper parts feature factory-quality paint, custom matched to the original vehicle color.



Ordering painted hoods from the Volvo Genuine Painted Parts Program offers many benefi ts. Painted hoods and bumpers can reduce customer downtime by days, while relieving backlogs in your paint booth. Many dealers order painted hoods in order to create capacity in the shop for larger, more profi table bodywork. Finally, if you currently outsource painting, ordering painted hoods may increase your profi t margin on jobs sent to offsite body shops.

Volvo offers the VNL hood in both Standard (SWO) and Large (LWO) Wheel Opening confi gurations. The hood mounting hardware is included at no extra cost.

With your VNL hood order, you have the option to add a new painted bumper to complete your front end repairs. Available options include both the Classic and Aero style bumpers, with or without lamps, for both wheel opening confi gurations. The add-on bumper option is only available with the purchase of a painted or dressed hood.


Legacy VNL hoods and bumpers


VNR hoods and bumpers The short-sloped hood of the Volvo VNR provides superior visibility and maneuverability for regional-haul applications. From urban delivery routes to overnight bulk haul runs, the VNR has been an instant favorite for fl eets that value safety, effi ciency and design.

Pre-painted VNR hoods can be ordered and shipped in as little as two days, dramatically reducing downtime for busy customers. The pre-painted, one-piece or three-piece bumper can be added to any hood order. Finish dressing your new hood and bumper and then you will be ready for installation.



Pre-painted hoods in any factory color are now available for the VNM through the Volvo Genuine Painted Parts Program, with all mounting hardware included at no extra cost. Similar to the VNL hood programs, ordering VNM painted hoods can reduce customer downtime, increase capacity in your paint booth and improve profi t margins.

Our state-of-the-art paint facility creates factory quality fi nish, using the same Imron paint as found in our North American manufacturing plant. Single-color hoods are available for direct order; custom paint is available via quote. The hood will leave our warehouse within 48 hours and can be shipped to your dealership or straight to the customer, in freight-friendly packaging.

Complete front end repairs are simplifi ed when you add a new painted bumper to your VNM hood order. VNM bumpers include a pre-painted steel center section with composite left and right extensions. Available center section options include most popular confi gurations. The VNM bumper add-on is only available as an option with the purchase of a VNM painted hood.

VNX hoods and bumpers The rigors of heavy-haul applications can play havoc on equipment. The new Volvo VNX series is built to handle the everyday wear and tear that comes with the heaviest loads. Every detail has been examined to increase durability, from tow pin to taillights.

Replacement VNX bumpers from the Genuine Painted Parts program are made from the same high-strength aluminum alloy and covered in the same factory-quality, urethane paint for extreme corrosion resistance. Replacement hoods feature the VNX’s specially designed front fender extensions to prevent tire spray when using larger, heavy-haul tires.


Painted and sealed cabsAvailable for all VNL, VNM and VHD models, Volvo’s Painted & Sealed Cab option offers brand-new factory-built cabs, assembled with new OEM parts, sealed and painted in any factory color. The Painted & Sealed Cab program can save weeks off the typical delivery, paint and assembly times compared to ordering individual parts.

Quick turnaroundDoors in our painted and sealed cabs arrive ready for final dressing at the dealership with seals, latches and electric window regulators already installed. The cab is shipped from our warehouse within 15 days of order approval. Freight is included in the price of the cab.

The Painted & Sealed Cabs are equipped with: • all cab glass and window seals including:

windshield, door; rear bunk and skylight (if model equipped)

• electric window regulators• flush-mounted LED back-of-cab lamp

Semi-groomed daycabs Need more than just a painted and sealed cab? Volvo now offers “semi-groomed” VNL, VNM and VHD daycabs, ready for installation of your existing dash and seats. Built with all factory-grade interior trim and completely finished doors, this option can save on typical shipping and assembly times compared to ordering individual parts. The semi-groomed cab is shipped from our warehouse in an enclosed crate within 20 days of order approval. Freight is included in the price of the cab.

Fully dressed hoods Need to replace a VNL hood fast? The Volvo Genuine Painted Parts Program now offers VNL hoods pre-painted in any factory color, “fully-dressed,” ready to bolt on and go. This option can significantly reduce shipping and assembly times compared to ordering individual parts.

The fully-dressed hood is shipped from our warehouse in a totally enclosed crate within 5 days of order approval. Freight is included in the price of the hood.

The fully dressed hoods are painted and pre-fitted with:• hood mounting brackets• aero hood mirrors• standard headlights• complete front grille• side intake covers• bellows• splash shields• hood insulation package• headlight wiring harness



Bulk parts Need a supply of frequently used parts painted and ready to install? The Volvo Genuine Painted Parts Bulk Program is a bulk-buy program with a minimum order requirement of 6 pieces with the same paint code. You can mix and match any combination of program-eligible parts to obtain the 6-piece minimum. Bulk parts are also available in any factory color.

The bulk painted parts program offers most VNL and VNM bumper pieces as well as cowls, cab extensions, visors, chassis fairings and more. If it came painted on the truck, we will be adding the option for you to buy it pre-painted for repairs. In order to save you money, bulk parts are painted using Imron Single Stage paint where available. This reduces the cost to you and is virtually indistinguishable from the Base Coat Clear paint used on hoods and cabs.

The bulk pieces are individually packed for ease of handling and storage, then shipped from our warehouse within 6-8 days of order approval.

Shipping All components in Volvo’s Painted Parts Program are carefully packaged or crated, with special attention given to the prevention of shipping damage. Freight is included in the price of every component. Orders can be shipped to your own shop or drop-shipped to any approved location within your area of responsibility.
