Acrylic

Apparel

• Adjective• Thin, delicate, and transparent

• The jacket of the evening gown is made of sheer fabric.

Shimmer

• Verb• To glisten; to glimmer

• The performer’s rhinestones will shimmer in the sunlight.

Spangles

• Noun• Small sparkling objects sewn on a garment for

decoration

• The costume’s spangles glimmered in the stage lights.

Suede

• Noun• Leather with a soft surface

• The full-length coat is made of expensive suede.

Toga• Noun• A draped one-piece garment worn by citizens

of Rome
