Regular meetings of the community: twice a month

Volunteering: once or twice a week

1) those who work with children and youth

Three groups in our community

2) those who volunteer and help the poor

3) Those who participate in different creative workshops (we produce rosaries, greeting cards, cookies etc.) using the products for self-financing

1) We animate different workshops and meetings for our juniors (elementary school kids)

Our specific activities

2) We volunteer at the Home for the mentally ill adults

We volunteer at the shelter for the homeless led by the Sisters of Charity in Rijeka

We volunteer in the families with six or more children

We organize projects in which we raise money for those in need and also collect food, clothes etc. for the poor

We participate in different creative workshops (we sell the hand made articles)

Missionary experience in Bulgaria

Twice a year we all gather on a weekend spiritual

retreat

when you work together, even the toughest job passes quickly and we have fun in it

Through this year in VMY we have learned:

Working with the elderly, the young, and learning about homelessness has opened our eyes towards a new way of thinking about human life and people in need.

VMY is a fruitful path that allows us to come to know God and to know the Virgin Mary.
