A special dinner celebration was held at Bedford Green in honor of Veterans Day. Thank you to all who participated – Windover Construction for hosting the event, the Bedford Neighborhood Brigade (BNB); Dunkin Donuts (for all the coffee) and Bill Scherer, President, Clean Green Solutions for donating 2 TV’s for the raffle. Most especially, thank you to the staff at Bedford Green and volunteers from the Bedford VA for all the set-up and serving. You are all amazing!

Linwood Mill Residents Create Stained Glass WindowResidents of Linwood Mill Apartments celebrated Peabody Properties’ 40th anniversary with the creation of a stained glass window to be displayed in the Braintree corporate office. It took resident and stained glass artist Jeanne Mistretta 28 hours to complete the piece which features the company’s logo and a personal message from the apartment community. Mistretta, a lifelong artist, and other Linwood Mill residents look forward

to creating another stained glass piece for the property’s 10th anniversary celebration in 2021.

Braintree Village Residents Take Part in Anti-Bullying WorkshopYouth residents of Braintree Village recently completed four anti-bullying workshops where they learned about the importance of kindness, acceptance and inclusion. The classes, which were organized by Peabody Resident Services, Inc. and led by MassHousing’s Tenant Assistance Program, ACME Teamwork, Inc., included peer interaction, games and activities to simulate different instances of bullying. Program leaders helped participants develop strategies to deal with challenging situations. At the conclusion of the workshop, residents, staff and community leaders joined together for a celebration.

Rogers Hall Residents Make A “Warm” DonationPam Mondazzi knitted 100 hats for children at the Moody Elementary School in Lowell. Mondazzi fashioned the warm weather gear to thank the students who visit Rogers Hall Apartments, where Mondazzi

resides, multiple times during the year and perform songs for residents. In addition to the 100

knitted hats, many Rogers Hall residents purchased more than 100 gloves, hats and scarves for the children, ages 5 to 11.
