Team Norms

1. Team members will respect each other’s feelings, ideas, and support others as best they can and not cause any distractions that may/will hurt the team’s progress. Failure to do so will result in notification of a superior and a possible referral. 2. All team members will keep everyone informed of their progress and decide things as a team at each respective meeting. If you are not present, decisions will be made WITHOUT you. 3. Meetings are prescheduled, any tardiness or absence must be explained or you will be counted absent and not participant for the session/meeting. 4. Each team member is responsible for their respective assignment and duty. Help can be given, but credit/partial credit must be given at each meeting. (i.e. “John helped me determine what the Trim option was on Inventor, allowing me to finish my assignment.”) Not giving credit is plagiarism and you can get a referral. 5. Work will be divided as evenly as possible, and all attempts will be made so that each member is satisfied with their assignment. 6. If there is a disagreement within the team, a vote will be cast to decide and settle the dispute. Failure to participate will result in your vote not counting. 7. All team members will respect these norms and do nothing to contradict them. Failure to do so will result in notification of a superior and a possible referral.

Design Brief

Client: School Superintendent

Target Consumer: High school students

Designer: Parker Murphy, Ean Smith, Wyatt jurney

Problem Statement: School lockers are a mess. Students can never find a pen, pencil, or

calculator, and their homework is always getting lost. Those who bring their lunch to school often find their food crushed under a sea of books and binders. Because of the clutter, it is often hard for students to close their locker doors completely.

  Design Statement:

Design a high school locker organization system that will neatly contain items commonly used and kept in school.

  Constraints:

Design must fit within your school locker. Easy to install. Must hold 20 lbs of books and binders. No flammable materials.
