WHY USE VOIP How we call VOIP to VOIP 6. Through VoIP we communicate with different people at a time like video conferencing 7. CHALLENGES 8. BASIC FUNCTIONS OF VOIP 9. SECURITY 10. ADVANTEGES COST: Free VOIP to VOIP Low cost VOIP to public switch telephone network (PSTN) Less bandwidth requirements No cost of software and hardware Mobility : Any internet connection Growing number of wireless broadband location 11. DISADVANTEGES High quality PSTN Variable VOIP depend on connection Lost or delay packets cause drop-out in voice In case of emergency calls hard to find geographical location Most VOIP services do not support encryption 12. Skype is a service that lets you call other Skype users anywhere in the world and talk to them for free. You can even talk to each other live over video. 13. Skype uses VoIP to let you make phone calls, video calls, group calls, and more over the Internet instead of using traditional phone lines. 14. Why people use VOIP instead of Skype The one problem with Skype and other first VOIP services was that you couldn't get a local number. For example, Skype doesn't offer a Skype In number in your state. This means that if anyone calls you, they'll have to pay long distance charges. That's not very attractive. 15. WHAT IS OOVOO, funny name and all, has long been Skype's most direct competitor. ooVoo is the next generation video communication service which brings friends, family and colleagues together through group video chats over the Internet using PCs, Macs, iPhones and best selling smart phones and tablets 16. You can easily communicate with friends who are not on ooVoo but are online in Facebook and Twitter. , ooVoo also uses a proprietary protocol and can only be used, for two way and conferencing with ooVoo users. It's also only available on Windows, Mac OS X, and a handful of Android phones. It will be available on the iPad 2 soon. 17. ooVoo conferencing software enables high quality video and audio calls with up to twelve locations at the same time (six on video and six on phone), high resolution video and PC- or Mac-to-phone calls to landlines and mobile phones 18. Desktop sharing Video call recording File sharing . Web video chat Video messaging Instant messaging Video conferencing Allows users to start a group video chat up to six people in a call. Phone calls ooVoo-to-phone calls to landlines and mobile phones to 70 countries worldwide. Features Of OOVOO 19.
