PHYSICAL INJURIES*Physical abuse can cause minor injuries *Bruises, welts, and cuts, and women get many health problems. *Many women have to visit the hospitals because they get major injuries. *Broken bones, severe bruises, and severe physical injuries can cause medical difficulties as women grow older.
DEATH*A large number of women under domestic violence die every year. *More than 70% of murdered women are killed by their violent partners. *Violence against women includes cultural reasons. *About 5.000 women are killed by family members in the name of the honor.
Violence against women has to be taken seriously not just by governments and organizations but the community in general because prevention and support for the women is the only way to stop this flagellum.
