What is a CheckWeigher ? A CheckWeigher is an automatic device that examines the weight of packs
passing down a production line.
Any pack weight that falls outside of pre-set limits will be automatically removed from the production line by means of a reject system.
A CheckWeigher compares weight. Therefore it has to be calibrated with a known weight first.
CheckWeighers weigh 100% of the items on a production line. Typically, an infeed section, scale section, discharge section, rejector or line divider, and computerized control comprise the physical CheckWeighing System.
