Employer Notes **Only accepting applications from type experienced Captains andFirst Officers current on the Airbus A320.No Exceptions.
IMPORTANT UPDATE APRIL 2015:
Current Vietjet policy is for potential flight crew, including thoseeligible for upgrade to Captain, to pay cash up front for "training". This amount ranges from $25,000 USD up to and over $65,000. Theamount does not include any associated fees incurred by CAAV forlicence processing fee.
Advice from pilots within Vietjet is to be wary of working for thisairline as it is plainly clear most of the money goes straight to certainindividuals in the company. In addition, the last round of cadets werekept waiting over 12 months and at present are still receiving no salary instead continuing with only observation rides to save the companymoney (once certified, they would have to be paid, so are kept onindefinite training).
The treatment of current pilots and their method of flight crewrecruitment is an absolute disgrace and blight upon the industry.
