The MMM Vic Editorial The MMM Vic Editorial The MMM Vic Editorial The MMM Vic Editorial MM Victoria has been without a State Manager for a couple of years now. While God has yet to call someone to this post - and we still wait patiently, I (Peter Taylor) have taken over the responsibility of the State Managers duties. Whilst still in the role of Min-istry Services Manager and a part of the MMM Management Team, MMM is hoping to restore our birth place to it’s former position with strong, active and enthusiastic volunteers, and now also engaging with tradesmen of all kinds to get involved in our com-mercial operations. MMM Vic is located at the MMM Head Office and the staff and volunteers like Rob Saunders (former Vic Com-mittee chair) and Rob Dux who head up MMM Build, Noel Taylor, Jane and Owen Bayliss, Lillian Taylor, Kim Roediger, Alan Wilkinson and Ewe-Jin Low, would love to see you get involved. It is now time to tell our supporters about it! Team News is an update of the im-portant work God has been doing through MMM here in Vic, and as MMM Victoria begins to stir, we will endeavour to keep you informed of MMM activities in all States, key dates as they arrive, projects that need volunteer involvement and that most important aspect of support in the shape of prayer - be it in your private time, or at our Monthly Prayer Fellowship at the Mitcham Office. If you have been involved in the past and would like to rekindle that inter-est, we would love to hear from you. Did You Know...
MMM recently had a team in PNG building a hospital ward at
OBO on the Fly River. Up to 10 team members spent 8 weeks
building this facility under difficult conditions. Apart from the
heat, material supply proved quite a challenge despite thorough
and long term planning.
Hudson Binks and his team of Roy Breyley, Kevin Barraclough,
Greg Burton, Max Coates, Bill Ellis, Rick Pearce and Kevin Voigt,
managed to almost complete the hospital ward and the ablution
block before their time ran out.
All materials were shipped in up the Nth Fly River from Port Mo-
resby and with the help of many local folk in Obo the project pro-
gressed under very wet conditions.
It is the intention of
some of the team
members to return
and complete the
project in the near
future.
This project was for
the Evangelical
Church of PNG.

MMM Australia NEEDS YOU
Tradie Breakfasts In a number of Victorian and NSW
centres MMM has had breakfasts
with tradesmen of varied skills, to
share the vision of MMM and invite
them to be involved with that vision.
Introducing MMM Build as a
commercial venture, and as MMM
Build expands, the need for more
sub-contract tradies and construction
industry professionals will increase.
We are finding our time spent with Christian tradespeople across the state extremely valuable. Not only are
many people expressing interest in being involved in our commercial work but some are also wishing to know
more about our Off Shore projects too.
Do you know someone in the construction industry? Would they be interested in getting involved with MMM?
Perhaps we can involve them in MMM Build projects in the near future.
Call the MMM Head Office to register your interest - 9837 2700.
Silvan Wesleyan Church Nov 12 to 23 &
Benwerren Nov 26 to Dec 7
We are still needing volunteers for the above two
projects and would value your participation. Both
Projects are painting jobs with some maintenance
involved. Some meals and accommodation can be
provided at both places.
MMM Australia has a number of oneoff projects in Victoria, interstate, and offshore (see page 4 for off shore work). We are also team building for a number of safari’s next year so please consider

Vanuatu Project with Victorian MMM Volunteers
Ian Story, Noel Taylor Kim Roediger and Andrew Denny spent three weeks in Port
Vila ,Vanuatu in May this year, helping a
group of tradies from the Uniting Church, build an eye clinic for the Vanuatu
Prevention of Blindness Project in the Pacific Islands Region.
Having rolled steel at the MMM Centre, our team was able to assist with the block
work, the plumbing and electrics and the
erection of steel framed interior walls of the clinic.
This clinic will be used to serve up to 10 thousand patients with eye problems each
year, and be a support base for the tech-
nicians who go by air and sea to visit the remote areas of the Pacific Region around
Vanuatu.
