About the Event

A three day “UMMAT Business Conclave”, organized by Parsoli Motors, was held at Sabarmati Riverfront, Ahmedabad from February 7-9, 2014. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri. Narendra Modi, was the chief guest of the event. The theme of the conference was Business Harmony which promised to flag off a new episode in the cross-community business scopes. The event was organized to enhance the potential of untapped buyers by bringing various industry professionals from different corners of India under one roof. Around 50 exhibitors set up stalls showcasing their products. The participants ranged from automobile sector to IT to realty. The event had separate Industrial Dome, Real Estate Dome, Automobile Dome, Corporate Dome and Hospitality Dome. Approximately 20,000 visitors attended this grand event.

On the occasion, Shri Modi spoke on the need of adapting to a growth model which ensured equality for everybody, irrespective of caste, creed or religion. He stressed security, equality, prosperity and equity as the four most important pillars of Gujarat's growth story. Shri Modi, to give an example of the fair approach which is being followed in Gujarat to help all sections grow, spoke on Jyotigram Yojana which ensured electricity to all villages round the clock. The leader also said on the occasion that the BJP wants power only to empower the people. Shri Narendra Modi also spoke passionately on Entrepreneurship and Brand India. Of particular interest was Shri Narendra Modi’s praise of skills among Muslim Youth and his call for encouraging Entrepreneurship within Muslim Women. Shri Modi wrapped up his speech with a call for Muslim Youth to become Job Creators rather than remain mere Job.
