Attracting Investments in Power Sector

Smt. Anandiben Patel, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat at the transformer manufacturing base of TBEA near Vadodara with H.E. Mr. Wei Wei, Ambassador of China to India, and Shri Nitin Patel, Hon’ble Minister of Gujarat. With a manufacturing capacity of 20 million KVA per year exports will begin to South Asian markets by the end of this year

Gujarat attracts the highest investments in power in India. Approx. 17% of all new investments in this sector nationally were made in Gujarat in the period between 2004-05 to 2012-13

Gujarat: International Investments

Smt. Anandiben Patel, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat inaugurates the production plant for Japanese company, TOTO at Halol in Panchmahal district. This is the highest investment by the company in South Asia.

Today’s Gujarat : A Power Surplus State

• Gujarat is a power surplus State with uninterrupted 24/7 power supply

• Private players contribute one third of the total installed capacity in Gujarat's power generation

Mundra Port, under the Gujarat Government, owned and operated by the Adani Group, handled 101.12 MT of cargo and has a capacity to handle 165 million tonnes of cargo a year
