OXYGEN SUPPLY SOLUTIONSWHY BUY OXYGEN WHEN YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN?Mediquip have been providing the Australian veterinary industry with oxygen supply plants since 2009. Our range of oxygen plants eliminate the need for costly and dangerous oxygen cylinders, as clinics can manufacture their own oxygen supply.

Mediquip have a range of oxygen concentrators and Airsep oxygen supply plants that generate near pure oxygen from the air we breathe. They do this through a method called pressure swing adsorption (PSA) which removes the nitrogen from the air leaving 93% oxygen.

ADVANTAGES:

HANSHIN STERILISERSSIMPLE, RELIABLE WITH SERVICE BACK UP AND LOCAL SUPPORTThe Hanshin range of steam sterilisers have been the popular choice in veterinary practices across Australia for more than a decade.

A key feature of Hanshin 21L and 41L sterilisers is the square chamber, which allows for increased efficiency of loads with a greater

usable capacity. The active vacuum drying system minimises wet packs after completion of the cycle, and the steam generator

means less water is used for steam production.

All functions of the sterilisation cycle such as fill, heat, sterilise, vent and dry are monitored in real time by a microprocessor. Users

can check the present temperature, remaining time of sterilisation and dry, next phase and water level on the front panel display.

A built-in self-diagnosis program generates warnings and will display error codes on the LED display should any operating error

occur during the cycle. The included printer can be used to print out the cycle performance for a record of traceability.

SCAVENGEGas Scavenging Systems collect waste gases from the exhaust port of the anaesthetic circuit or ventilator and transfer them to a receiving system. From there the system disposes of the waste gases outside of the working environment. The use of anaesthetic gases and volatile agents within the closed environment may lead to the chronic exposure of staff with potential adverse consequences on their health. In addition to this, certain agents are potentially flammable and should not be allowed to accumulate in a closed area. Anaesthesia machines, ventilators, and breathing systems must be checked annually and maintained in good working condition to ensure there is no gas leakage.

Scavenging may be ACTIVE (suction applied) or PASSIVE (waste gases proceed passively down a corrugated tube away from the clinical environment - limitations apply with this method).

STAINLESS STEEL CAGE SYSTEMS Stainless Steel Cage Systems are essential in any veterinary practice. Mediquip have a large range of cage modules available - plus we can custom build a cage system to suit your needs.

• Slam gates are easily removable and have loops to prevent the escape of added flooring material (i.e. paper)

• Doors can be hinged from either right or left side

• Floors have a fluid retention lip on front edge

• Double cages have reinforced floors and rear walls and have two doors and a central post locking system

• Caster bases can be fitted.
