BOSTON BRUINS 1The Vegas Golden Knights returned to their winning ways, defeating the Boston Bruins 3-1 on Sunday afternoon. The game was tightuntil late in the second period when Alex Tuch and Vadim Shipachyov each scored their first NHL goals, giving Vegas a 2-0 lead aftertwo periods. Malcolm Subban was stellar in his first NHL victory, stopping 21 of 22 shots. Subban, who was a first round draft pick bythe Bruins in 2012, was 30 seconds away from his first career shutout, but Boston was able to post a late goal. Oscar Lindberg followedup by scoring an empty net goal with 14 seconds left in the game to clinch the victory for the Golden Knights.
