LOUGHBOROUGH SPORT Loughborough Sport has always been at the heart of Loughborough University. Over the past 5 years the Loughborough Sport Coach & Volunteer Academy has been created. As part of this we have an events section which is open to both students and community members to be part of. A number of our community members were part of the Medal Makers who support the Team GB preparation camp and kitting that took place on Loughboroughs campus in 2012. Both students and community members have since been involved in a number of sports events both on and off campus. With new members from the community expressing an interest regularly. Events have included and will continue to include: Loughborough International & European Athletics; British Triathlon Elite Duathlon;T20 Cricket; Superleague Netball; European Hockey Cup; Manchester United and Tottenham Academy Football; Barbarians Rugby and Team England Commonwealth Kitting Out. The Academy is honored to be supporting the Rugby World Cup and the host city Leicester. TRY OUTS A unique experience, creating buzz and excitement for each selected attendee. An applicants first live interaction with the RWC, offering a friendly and engaging environment. Providing the applicants a platform to showcase themselves. 18.
