Where to Search•For a NEW Client -

•Intake page in Central Intake validates 3 times: •Head of Household, Social Security Number, First Name, Last Name & Date or Birth

Where to Search•When working on your Caseload -

•Search on all Program Library pages

Searching tips•Use TAB key and ENTER key•Blank/no entry displays everyone in database•Fuzzy searches help to find unusual names or misspellings•% is a WILDCARD –

•At beginning of name: %son will show all names ending in son•In between letters P%son will show all names starting with P and ending in son

•Number above Grid shows total matches and active record

More Searching tips•Search Sets become available when large amount of matches occur

•Select a set in the dropdown to see that set of data

•Right click FIND allows searches using other items•Right click QUERY allows searches with multiple items•To remove item from search field, click CLEAR or use DELETE key•Funnel symbol allows filtering

Grid tips•Click Column Heading to sort by that item

•Click second time to sort in reverse order•Click right edge of Column Heading and drag to widen or to narrow column or double click•Click on Column Heading and drag to other spot in Grid to rearrange column order•Select record by clicking to the left of record•Select multiple records by pressing CTRL key and clicking each record•Select a range of records by pressing SHIFT key and clicking each record OR click and drag

Active Clients•Clients on Listing page will be active in Customer dropdown on other program Library pages

Active Clients part 2

•Customer dropdown on program Library pages will show Clients from Listing page search•Or use blue arrow button in toolbar

Active Clients part 3

•SHRINK buttons filter Customer dropdown to •Clients in Household•Caseworker Clients

Working with Active Clients•Active Client will be active on all other pages in the same Library•If a page is clicked in a different Library, your active Client may not appear•To take the Central Intake Client to program pages, use the GO TO ENTRY button •To take the Program Client to Central Intake pages, use the GO TO DEMOGRAPHICS button

Navigation tips•Use TAB to move from field to field or use mouse to click in each field•TAB key positions your cursor for number entry•Question sets – press ENTER key after answer•Use fuzzy logic when entering answers and when entering data into most fields•Mouse over field or grid to see entire entry•Mouse over picture icon buttons to see Tool Tip

Keyboard shortcuts•HOME key takes you to start of field•END key takes you to end of line/field•To Copy & Paste –

•CTRL + C = copy•CTRL + V = paste•CTRL + X = cut

•Calendar & Dates•Can type in date (2 digits for month and date)•Use dropdown to use Calendar•Change month with arrows or click on Month name•Change year with up and down arrows

Application Tips•If using Operation Year – change it on Entry page or on Listing page•Navigate between Program Applications with VIEW PROGRAMS CLIENT IS ENROLLED IN button

•Filter by Program – displays all applications to specific Program•Show Active – displays only active Programs•Locate – displays information for selected Program•Refresh – shows all Program Applications again

Recording Activities•Move Activity to different Milestone if needed•Delete Activity when created by mistake•Activities can be deleted only on the page where they were created•Program Components can be deleted only when no Activities are present

Login Tips•Make the current Application what appears when you log in to Enginuity
