Callers are greeted by a short menu that gives them a list of options to choose such as sales, customer service and so on. After selecting their preferred department, they are immediately put through to the correct person.

Geo-routing: Send Callers to the Right LocationGeo-routing helps companies with multiple locations direct customers to the one nearest to them. If companies have more than one store serving the same area, they can choose to rotate the stores receiving the calls in a round robin fashion.

We have three key methods of ensuring that callers are connected to the right location.

Zip code routing asks callers to type in their zip code and directs their call to the location in the nearest proximity.

Area code routing needs no input by customers. Based on either the first three or six digits of their phone number, callers are redirected to the appropriate location. Locations are set ahead of time by the companies to ensure that callers are routed correctly.

Out-of-Area Call Verify is a notification that is triggered by customers phoning from outside a set radius. The customers calling from out of the service area are notified with a short message, but can still choose to continue through to the business with a keypress.
