PharmacoEconomics & Outcomes News 315 - 2 Jun 2001 ■ The medical marijuana movement in the US has been dealt a serious blow with the US Supreme Court ruling against the medical use of the drug, reports the BMJ. The unanimous decision makes no exception whatsoever for marijuana since, under federal law, it is an illegal substance.
