Summer Internship Opportunity: Biological Science Intern
Biological Science Interns will be selected to work at Cape May National Wildlife Refuge. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the biological field assisting with various wildlife surveys such as shorebird, fish, and bats, controlling invasive plant species, and participating in other salt marsh field work. This unpaid internship will provide invaluable experience in the biological field, which will stand out in future job applications. Though the position is unpaid, we will work with you to obtain college credit if your school offers this opportunity.

Who?
Applicants must be willing to:
• work in hot, humid, buggy weather
• work early morning/ late nights
• be physically capable of walking in salt
marshes carrying heavy equipment
• be able to learn wildlife by sight and sound
• effectively interact with people
• be a team player
A biology or wildlife background is required.
Applicants must be able to supply their own
housing. All ages welcome.

8 hours/day
Interns are needed for 8
hrs/day, minimum of 3
days/week, preference will
be given to applicants willing
to work 40 hrs/week.
