Maintain and repair power plant ASME code and non-code Structure, Systems, and Components (SSCs) to ASME Code Section III and XI repair requirements, including piping and pipe components, Set Pressure Verification Device (SPVD) operation, manual and check valves, actuated valves, safety and relief valves, and heat exchangers.

As a Fix It Now (FIN) Team member, am a Subject Matter Expert in Steam Generator manway hydraulic tensioning tooling and manway repairs, as well as heat exchanger tube replacement and maintenance.

Supported reactor core defueling activities in support of San Onofre shutdown and decommission effort. Routinely functioned as Lead Man in the repair and maintenance of plant heat exchangers, main condensers, rigging

and hydrostatic testing activities. Supported Maintenance Training development, including refurbishment of mechanical manual and safety valves,

piping, and rotating equipment on the flow loop simulator used by Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering Divisions for initial and continuing training and developed control valve skid used in the testing of new valve packing.

Participated as qualified line incumbent on the Maintenance Mechanical Group Curriculum Review Committee to support the systematic approach to training process by identifying line training needs, validating curriculum, and providing training feedback, supporting successful Maintenance and Technical Training accreditation renewal in 2011.

Served as subject matter expert in safety and relief valve rebuild and testing as a member of the Rebuild Group, providing quality components while minimizing the costs of new valve purchases.
