Giving Day Checklist

Select story type (Organization, Need, Impact) to align with Giving Day goal

Review organization’s current stories and media types

Deconstruct applicable workshop examples (and look for others)

Choose one narrative for Giving Day campaign

Identify internal approval process for marketing communication plan

Brief board, staff and volunteers on Giving Day narrative and CTAs

Identify audiences for the stories

Identify communication tools for the stories

Determine number and format of stories
