There is pain in the letting-go:

• my security• my control• my hurts of the

past • my plan for the

future.

I want to know forsure that my letting go now willgenerate a freer,fuller, happiertomorrow.

For each of us,Jesus enteredinto this painfulyet decisivemoment thatwe each mustface.

In this hour andin this place he iswith us

as we embrace the unknown promise

of new life.
