A seed needs to let go of its dormancyand self-containment.

It needs to be open to the outside forces of its environment
in order to be transformed into thefullness of its unknown promise.
What are thesecurities of my
present that Ineed to abandon
to grow intothe promiseof all I amcalled to be?
There is pain in the letting-go:
• my security• my control• my hurts of the
past • my plan for the
future.
I want to know forsure that my letting go now willgenerate a freer, fuller, happiertomorrow.
For each of us,Jesus enteredinto this painfulyet decisivemoment thatwe each mustface.
In this hour andin this place he iswith us
as we embrace the unknown promise
of new life.
We hope you enjoyed this reflection.
