Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for Under Graduate Programmes

Admission to the Under Graduate Programmes in Arts and Science colleges affiliated

to the University of Calicut including 50 % of seats set apart for Merit Admission in the Self

Financing colleges for the Academic Year 2016-2017 will be conducted through Centralized

Admission Process as per the details given below.

The following Courses are not included the Centralised Admission Process.

1. All Under Graduate Programmes with Entrance

2. Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology

3. BSc Nursing

4. BSc Medical Laboratory Technology

5. BSc Medical Microbiology

6. BSc Medical Biochemisrtry

7. Bachelor of Physical Education

8. All Under Graduate Programme for which affiliation orders are issued after the

closing date of admission.

The Centralized Admission Process (CAP), offers facility for online submission of

application to various colleges and programmes. Students can opt upto 20 programmes of

their choice on priority basis from the affiliated colleges through simple online steps

available in CAP (website www.cuonline.ac.in).

This hassle-free process is time saving, cost effective and ensures transparency in

admission. The online allotment process provides the candidates, the opportunity to obtain

admission to any of the affiliated colleges/Centres and to the programmes of his/her choice

on the basis of merit.It also helps to give maximum exposure to various colleges and

programmes under the jurisdiction of the University.

Aims and Objectives:

The University introduced the 'Online registration' for admissions to UG

Programmes in the academic year 2013-2014 to cater to the aspirations of students who

otherwise could not pursue tendering applications, by personally approaching various

Colleges spread over 5 districts affiliated to Calicut University for admissions.

While introducing the Online Registration for Centralised admission the University

aimed a lofty goal of extending a hand out to the candidates from the socially backward

sector of the society and those residing in the remote areas within the jurisdiction of Calicut

University.

The process provides facility for candidates to register upto 20 options through a

single application thus benefiting the registrants with broad opportunity to secure admission

in the college/course of their choice.

1.Seat Nomenclature:

The seats available in the colleges are classified as 1.Merit2.Mandatory reservations 3.Community 4.Management

5. Other Reservation Category Seats5.Special Reservation Category of seats.

1.1Merit Seats:

The seats filled by the University in Government/Aided/Un Aided (Self-financing) and Self Financing programmes in Aided colleges purely on the basis of the merit.

1.2 Mandatory Reservation seat categories:

1.2.1. SEBC (Socially and Economically Backward Community).

concerned to the effect that the annual income of all members of faculty from all soucres together is less than .6 Lakhs in the case of SEBC candidates who claim reservation under₹ SEBC category has to be produced at the time of admission. The income certificate should not have been issued earlier than 12 months prior to the submission of application.

1.2.2 EBFC (Economically Backward among Forward Community)

BPL category in Forward Community

The seats filled by the University in Government,Un Aided (Self-financing) and Self Financing programmes in Aided colleges from among the registered students belonging Economically Backward among Forward Community.

A community certificate along with the relevant certificate from the revenue authorities concerned to the effect that they come under the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category of forward communities in the case of candidates who wish to avail of reservation under EBFC category has to be produced at the time of admission.

1.2.3 Schedule Caste

The seats filled by the University in Government/Aided/Un Aided (Self-financing) and Self Financing programmes in Aided colleges from among the registered students belonging to schedule caste purely on the basis of the merit.

1.2.4 Schedule Tribe

The seats filled by the University in Government/Aided/Un Aided (Self-financing) and Self Financing programmes in Aided colleges from among the registered students belonging to schedule tribe purely on the basis of the merit.

1.3.1 Community Quota (Aided Colleges only)

The seats in Aided colleges that are filled upon merit basis from among the students of the community of the particular Management running the college.

The candidates seeking admission to the community quota in aided colleges should register in CAP. University will prepare a rank list of such candidates and the list will be forwarded to the colleges and the colleges will admit the candidates based on their merit from this list. The community rank list will be published in the college login and website.The colleges will also publish the community rank list in the notice board.

1.3.2 Management Quota (Aided and Unaided Colleges and Unaided Programmes conducted in Aided Colleges)

The seats in Aided, Un Aided and Self Financing Courses in Aided colleges filled by the College.

Candidates seeking admission to the Management Quota in Aided/Unaided colleges should register in CAP. In addition to this candidates should contact the colleges he/she intends to take admissions and submit separate applications in the colleges concerned.

1.3.2 Sports Quota (in all Affiliated Colleges)

The seats in Government,Aided, Un Aided and Self Financing Courses in Aided colleges filled by the College.

Candidates seeking admission to the Sports Quota should register in CAP. In addition to this candidates should contact the colleges he/she intends to take admissions and submit separate applications in the colleges concerned.

1.3.3 Lakshadweep Quota (in all Affiliated Colleges)

The seats in Government,Aided, Un Aided and Self Financing Courses in Aided colleges for the native students of Union Territory of Lakshadweep filled by the College based on the recommendation by the Director of Education Union Territory of Lakshadweep

The candidates recommended by the Director shall be admitted without CAP registration. The colleges need not insist the candidates to register through CAP or remit the application fee.But, the list of the candidates admitted under Lakshadweep quota shall be forwarded to the DoA (Directorate of Admissions) as and when the admissions to the category seats are completed or immediately after the closing of the admissions.. The University will generate the CAP ID and password for these candicates and the will be forwarded to the colleges and the colleges shall further register these candidates( as done in the case of online registration).

1.3.4 Kashmir Students (in all Affiliated Colleges)

Two supernumerary seats, are a part of the Special Scholarship Scheme in all Institutions either for UG or PG programme. The seats are common for UG and PG programmes therefore, admissions shall be made as per the orders of the scholar ship.

1.3.5 Adaman Nicobar (in all Affiliated Colleges)

In UG course the affiliated arts & Science colleges, additional seats can be created and reserved over and above the sanctioned strength, but within the statutory maximum limit for the native students of Andaman Nicobar, as recommended by the Director of Education Andaman Nicobar. In courses where the sanctioned strength and the statutory limit are the same, the additional seat can be created above the statutory limit, exclusively for the admission of the above candidates.

1.4.Special Reservation Category of seats.

1.4.1 Persons with Disabilities ( in all Affiliated Colleges)

The seats in Government,Aided, Un Aided and Self Financing Courses in Aided colleges that are filled upon merit basis from among the students registered as Physically handicapped ( Deaf,Blind or Physically Challenged) during registration.

The candidates seeking admission to the respective quota in the affiliated colleges should register in CAP. University will prepare a rank list of such candidates and the list will be forwarded to the colleges and the colleges will admit the candidates based on their merit/eligibility from this list. The rank list will be published in the college login and website.The colleges will also publish the rank list in the notice board.

1.4.2 Mentally retarded ( in all Affiliated Colleges)

In UG course the affiliated arts & Science colleges, additional seats can be created and reserved over and above the sanctioned strength, but within the statutory maximum limit for the mentally retarded students. In courses where the sanctioned strength and the statutory limit are the same, the additional seat can be created above the statutory limit, exclusively for the admission of the above candidates.

2. Eligibility to apply for Centralized Admission Process

2.1 Eligibility for Admission

Those candidates who are “Eligible for Higher Studies” as per the Higher Secondary

Examination or a pass in the equivalent examinations are the minimum criteria for admission to

degree courses, unless otherwise specified.

All Candidates qualified in the annual examination held up to and including the preceding

academic years are eligible for admission. However, candidates who have qualified the HSE and

VHSE of the Government of Kerala under ‘SAY’ scheme and Compartmental Examination of

CBSE are also eligible for admission to first year degree courses in the same academic year.

(U.O. No. GA I /A2/ 5753/2000 dated 14.05.2004)

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu (Private study)shall not be admitted to any course under this University. (U.ONo.GAI/A1/5062/2002 dated 07.07.2005).The Physically Challenged candidates are not eligible for admissions to the Geology course. The visually challenged candidates are not eligible for admission to science subjects involving practicals.

3. 3.Procedure for Applying through CAP.

1.) Preferably use the latest version of Mozilla Firefox or Chrome. 2.) Read Prospectus and Instructions carefully before proceeding with the registration.3.) Do not press back button during the process of registration

3.1. PHASE 1: Payment of Fee (through e-payment system)

a) Click -Instant Web payment system in the home page of the website www.universityofcalicut.info.

b) Click- fee remittance in the website www.cuonline.ac.in or c) Directly visit the website https://www.uoc.ac.in

Keep ready the Following:

a.) Date of Birth.b.) Mobile Number (mobile number of student/parents/guardian only to be furnished).c) E-mail (Email Id of student/parents/guardian only be entered. Those who don't have an Email-Id may create one and enter).d) Fee : Rs 250/- for General category and Rs 100/- for SC/ST.

3.1.1.Mode of Remittance of fee by candidates from inside KERALA.

3.1.3 Instructions:

If mode of payment is State Bank of Travancore online

1.) Select the Purpose of remittance UGSW16- Centralized Admission Process Degree 2016-Application Fee

2.) Furnish the details in the blank fields (mobile number and e-mail ID only that of the student/parent/guardian).

3.) Select the mode of payment -SBT online.4.) Enter the fee amount and click the button”Proceed”. 5.) You can view the details now, if the details are correct click “ Pay Now.”6.) In the next page click “Continue for Payment”.Remit the fee online as per the

instructions in the online payment site of SBT.7.) Click redirect to the Calicut University Instant Web Payment System (CUIWPS) or

wait for 60 seconds to be redirected. 8.) Take printout of the online payment “RECEIPT”. CAP ID Number and Password

will be received by SMS/e-mail, with which the candidate can login to CAP and complete the online application submission.

3.1.4 If mode of payment is E-Chalan of SBT.

1. Select the Purpose of remittance UGSW01-Centralized Admission Process Degree 2016- Application Fee).

2. Furnish the details in the blank fields (mobile number and e-mail ID only that of the student/parent/guardian).

3. Select the mode of payment SBT E-Chalan.4. Enter the fee amount and click the button “Proceed”.

THE CHALAN FORM CAN BE VIEWED. TAKE PRINT OUT OF THE SAME.

If mode of payment selected is SBT E-Chalan payment can be made at any nearest SBT Branch after 3 hours of the generation of the chalan. The candidate's copy of the chalan may be kept in hand and the college copy may be submitted along with the print out of the application to the college at the time of admission. After making payment an SMS/e-mail will be received within 24 hours intimating the CAP ID number and password. After the receipt of this SMS he/she can login and submit the application. Please ensure that the fee is remitted before the expiry date shown in the right bottom of the chalan.

The payment procedure completed.“Fee once remitted will not be refunded”.

4.PHASE 2

Keep ready the following1. The CAP ID number and password received by SMS/E-Mail.2. Copy of the SSLC.3. Passport size photograph in '.jpg' format with a size less than 40 KB.4. BPL Certificate for candidates belongs to BPL category among forward

communities.

Login to the Website www.cuonline.ac.in using the CAP ID and Password received through SMS/E-Mail(use Mozilla Firefox or Chrome for better performance).

(Candidates should go through the admission rules for UG courses available in the website www.cuonline.ac.in, carefully before starting the second stage registration.)

4.1. Step 1 :Upload the photo ( size less than 40 kb).

Browse and attach the photo. Click “Upload Photo”

4.2. STEP 2 :Student Profile

4.2.1 Basic details: Enter the details in the blank fields.

CLICK “SAVE /PROCEED” BUTTON

4.2.2 Personal Details: Utmost care should be taken while entering reservation details. Those who apply for the seats reserved for BPL category among forward communities should submit the order No, date of order and details of issuing authority. If details are displayed automatically, in the case of Kerala HSE, and VHSE students, check the details and use edit option to make any correction if necessary.

4.3.Step 3: Qualification Details Keep ready the followingCopy of the Plus Two Mark Sheet

4.3.1 Submission of details and marks of the qualifying examination.

The marks in respect of HSE/VHSE candidates passed since 2014 annual Plus Two examination will be automatically displayed other candidates passed Plus two prior to 2014 and examinations conducted by other boards will have to enter the mark details by themselves.

4.4. STEP 4 College Options Selection:

(Utmost care should be taken while fixing the priority of the option. Priority and index marks are the base of the allotment)

` Select the Colleges and programmes according to the priority. A list of colleges and programmes in the order of priority may be prepared and kept ready well in advance. List of Colleges and programmes are available in the website. (www.cuonline.ac.in). Once the candidate completes the option entry he/she can view options and the index marks of the courses opted by him/her. He/she can check the Index marks of the Highest and lowest ranked candidates ( of the previous year) in the programme and can reset the options before final submission. Candidates can edit the options furnished before final submission. The colleges and programme displayed in the print out will be in accordance to the priority opted by the candidate.

CLICK “SAVE /PROCEED” BUTTON

REGISTRATION COMPLETED

The candidates can take a verification print out. All candidates should personally verify and ensure that the details submitted are correct. If any, errors are noticed such errors shall be edited immediately.A verification printout shall be taken if necessary, and the correctness may be verified again.The final submission shall be done only after all possible verification of the application.

After final submission the candidates can take a final “Print Out” ( College copy and Student Copy). The student copy shall be retained with the college copy shall be submitted to the college where he/she takes permanent admission.

The candidates applying for all categories of seats including (Management and Sports quota seats) should register before the last date of registration. Application for registration after the closing date will be levied a fine of Rs250/-(as late fee).

5.Editing the Data Submitted

The candidates should take a verification printout and personally verify and ensure that the details

entered are correct before final submission. The candidates can edit the data entered including photo

till the FINAL SUBMISSION is done.After FINAL SUBMISSION the data can only be edited by

the Nodal Centres functioning in the affiliated colleges. The list of Nodal centre's are published in

the website. The candidates intending to edit the details after final submission can identify the

nearest nodal center from the list and approach such centre for assistance.

6.Nodal Centre's

Nodal Centre's are functioning in all affiliated colleges in connection with the online registration to

UG programmes 2016. In each nodal center a nodal officer has been appointed and the students can

avail their assistance for registration.The list of Nodal centre are published in the website. The

candidates can identify the nearest nodal centre's from the list and approach such centre for

assistance.

The printout copy of the Online application and chalan /payment slips need not be sent to the University , but candidates are directed to keep the same with themselves and shall submit it to the colleges where he/she gets admission.”

8.Indexing of Marks for ranking.

Candidates registering their options, should satisfy all the eligibility criteria with regard to the

academic qualifications prescribed in the admission rules. Eligibility criteria and rules for

calculating index marks for admission to various courses will be published in the website.

9. Allotment:

There will be FIVE allotments for GOVERNMENT COLLEGES, AIDED AND UN AIDED COLLEGES. Classes will commence after the Third allotment. THE ALLOTMENTS ARE MADE FROM AMONG THIS LIST OF COLLEGES AND PROGRAMMES OPTED.

Admissions to the new colleges or new courses in existing colleges receiving affiliation after the commencement of registration process will not be included in the allotment The admission to such colleges or new courses will be conducted in traditional manner. But the admissions shall be done only from among the candidates registered in CAP. Such colleges should not admit any candidates without obtaining guidelines from the Directorate of Admissions.

9 (a). Trial Allotment A trial allotment will be conducted to give the applicants an idea about the chances

of getting allotment to a programme and college based on the options, merit and reservation rules. After the trial allotments candidates will be allowed to verify and correct their options. The trial allotment does not guarantee that the candidate will get allotment in a college or a programme of his/her choice, since the ranks may vary in actual allotment subject to the rearrangement of options by applicants after the trial allotment.

9 (b). Rearrangement of priority of options

After the trail allotment the candidates can re arrange priority of their options already submitted during the registration.

Candidates can login and re arrange or delete the options submitted earlier within the prescribed time. No new course or college can be added at any stage of the allotment process.

10. First Allotment

10.1 After the trial allotment and the period for rearranging options the first allotment list will be published on the date as per the schedule. On receiving allotment to a particular option , all other lower options will be automatically cancelled and only the higher options will prevail until deletion or modification by the candidate.

10.2 The candidates who receive allotment should pay the mandatory fee (in single E-chalan/online payment) within the time prescribed (as per the schedule ) for confirmation of the allotment.

The candidate successfully remitted the mandatory fee will be deemed to have accepted the admission to the course and college allotted. Those who fail to remit the fee within the time prescribed for the same, will lose the current allotment as well as the eligibility for further allotments.

If the candidate is satisfied with an allotment and does not want to be considered for further allotments, candidate must cancel all the remaining higher options. Candidates retaining all or any one of his/her higher options after an allotment are bound to accept the next allotment. Failing to do this will result in losing previous allotment as well as the new allotments.

11. Remittance of Mandatory fee

After the allotment the prescribed Mandatory Fee due to the University will have to be

remitted by the candidate through e-payment with in the time prescribed to claim the allotment. The

candidates failing to do so will lose his/her current allotment and they will be expelled from further

allotments. The details of the mandatory fee will be published in the website before the first

allotment.

12. Cancellation of higher options.

The candidates who have received any allotment and are waiting for allotments to higher options can login into CAP after each allotment and either delete their higher options completely or partially. Re arrangement of options will be available after the trail allotment.

13. Other details related to allotments

13.1 Candidates will not be allotted to a college/programme not opted by them.

13.2 A candidate is bound to accept an allotment as per the priority of options registered. If he/she gets allotment in the subsequent phase, based on higher options against, he/she has to relinquish the seat already occupied by him/her.

13.3 Request to retain a previous allotment after subsequent allotment (according to his/her higher options registered) will not be considered under any circumstances.

13.4 Those candidates who have received the allotment and satisfied with the current allotment can remit the mandatory fee and cancel the higher option and take admission.

13.5 Those candidates who have received the allotment to their first option can remit mandatory fee and take admission.

14 Post Allottments Activities

Reporting to the College for admission

All the candidates who get allotment should report for admission as per the date earmarked in the schedule,at the college concerned after remitting the fee (University mandatory fee-see clause 11).The candidates should produce the following documents in original before the Principal/Head of the college/Institution at the time of admission.

1. Admit Card2. The print outs of the application 3. College copy of the E-chalan/online payment slip for registration fee.4. Receipt/Chalan of the fee remitted for acceptance of allotment. (University

mandatory fee see clause 11).5. Age proof 6. Qualifying Certificate. 7. Mark List(s) of the qualifying examination.8. Transfer Certificate received from the Institution last studied. 9. Conduct Certificate 10. Those candidates who have passed examinations other than HSE/VHSE except

CBSE/CISCE should produce Equivalency/Recognition Certificate from University of Calicut.

11. Income Certificate / Nativity Certificate /Community Certificate as directed by the admitting authorities

12. Candidates who claim bonus/weightage marks shall produce relevant certificates.13. Community certificate along with the relevant certificate from the revenue

authorities/Local Self Goverment Bodies concerned to the effect that they come

under the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category of forward communities in the case of candidates who wish to avail of reservation under EBFC category.

14. Community certificate along with income certificate from the revenue authorities concerned to the effect that the annual income of all members of faculty from all sources together is less than .6 Lakhs in the case of SEBC candidates who claim₹ reservation under SEBC category. The income certificate should not have been issued earlier than 12 months prior to the submission of application.

15. Confirmation of Admission

As the allotment is based on the information furnished online by the candidate, the eligibility should be confirmed by the Principal/Head of the college/Institution at the time of admission. The Principal/Head of the college/Institution should verify the original documents produced, with the details furnished by the candidates in the online application. Any discrepancies which invalidate the allotment should be informed to the University and in such cases the admission should be denied. The Principal/Head of the college/Institution shall be held personally responsible for ensuring the correctness of the relevant details in the application, by verifying the original records produced by the candidate. The University will also verify the genuineness of the certificates furnished by the candidates in due course of time and any discrepancies noticed will lead to the cancellation of the admission.

The index marks are being calculated by the software, based on the details of marks and weightage category opted by the candidates. Hence, any mistake of facts submitted by the candidate might result in the wrong index calculation. Therefore, all the Principals/Head of the Institutions are instructed to verify the index marks of the candidates before admitting him/her. Anomalies, if any noticed , the admission should be denied and candidate should be directed to report before the Directorate of Admissions, Calicut University.

16.Uploading the details of the students admitted.

The colleges should upload the details of the candidates admitted in the website on the day of admission itself.Admission entry after the closing date of admissions will not permitted. (Govt.Letter No B4/224/2016/H.Edn Dated:26.04.2016).

17. Admission to seats which do not come under the purview of Centralized Allotment.

Admission to the following seats which do not come under the purview of Centralised Allotment. (But all the candidates applying to these seats should register through CAP).

5. Persons with Disabilities/Mentally retarded ( in all Affiliated Colleges)

The details of the candidates admitted under the Management Quota/Sports Quota/ Lakshadweep Quota/Kashmir Students/Persons with Disabilities/Mentally Retarded seats including the actual marks secured by them and index marks arrived, must be uploaded in the admission portal provided by the University before the closing date of admission. If vacancies arise due to discontinuation of candidates under the above quotas, the next eligible candidate in the rank list shall be admitted. In case there is no eligible candidate the seat shall be left vacant.

18. Marginal Increase of Seats

The marginal increase in seats for the academic year 2015-2016 will also be filled through CAP. The selection of candidates for the marginal increase in seats sanctioned shall be made according to the rules prescribed by the University for filling the original seats.

19.Admissions.

19 (a) Through Allotments

The candidates receiving allotments for the first options and those candidates are satisfied

with the allotment received in any of the allotments from FIRST to THIRD can take admissions to

the respective colleges from the date of publication of the allotments to the last date of admissions

earmarked after the third allotment.

The candidates satisfied an allotment should cancel their higher options. In case the higher

options are not cancelled the candidate will be considered for the higher options and will be bound

to take admission to the allotment received for their higher options.

19 (b) Permenant and Temporary Admissions

After Third allotments all candidates should take admissions to colleges allotted either on

Permenant or temporary basis.

19 b (1) Permenant Admissions

All candidates those who received allotment to their first option and candidates satisfied

with their current allotment and not willing to be considered for higher option shall take Permanent

admissions.

19 b (2) Temporary Admissions

All candidates those who have received allotment but not satisfied with their current

allotment and willing to be considered for higher option shall take Temporary admissions. These,

candidates will be considered for their higher options.

The candidates taking temporary admissions need not remit any fee to the college but should

submit the copy of the admit card to the college. The college authorities can verify and return all his

original documents and accept the admit card .The Principal ( or the person designated by the

Principal ) shall attest and retain the card marking as “Temporary Admission”. The details of the

candidates admitted as temporary shall be uploaded in the website on the day of admission it itself.

20.ASSESSMENT OF MERIT - FOR DEGREE ADMISSION

The Marks obtained in the Plus Two examinations have to be taken in to account and the total index marks are calculated as per UO No. GA1/A2/1658/2007 dated 28.02.2008.The merit of the candidate shall be assessed for ranking on the basis of marks obtained by him / her in the qualifying examination for admission to the particular course, subject to such criteria as may be prescribed by the University. For admission to Degree courses, the marks obtained in the Plus Two examination conducted by the State Board of Higher Secondary Examination is taken as the standard.

i) BONUS /WEIGHTAGE MARKS1. Bonus / weightage marks will be added to the total Marks obtained in the qualifying

examination to calculate the index marks and for ranking in the selection list in the case of candidates who already possess the required minimum marks prescribed.

2. A weightage of 15 marks are added to the total in the case of ex-serviceman, widows and children of Jawan and ex-serviceman, and to the widows and children of B.S.F. Personnel killed or disabled in action, for admission to BA /BSc / B.Com courses.

3. Students who have worked in the Illiteracy Eradication Programme on voluntary basis for at least one year will be allowed 15 marks as bonus/weightage for the purpose of ranking.

4. 15 marks shall be awarded as bonus marks to N.S.S / N.C.C cadets subject to the fulfilment of the following conditions, for the purpose of ranking.

a. In respect of NCC applicants the bonus marks will be awarded on the basis of NCC certificates signed by the Director and issued by the Directorate of NCC to the candidates who have secured at least 75% of attendance after having participated in its activities during the course of the study immediately preceding the course for which admission is sought.

b. The basis for awarding bonus marks to NSS participants will be NSS certificate signed by the Director and issued by the Directorate of NSS.

c. The benefit of bonus marks for the purpose of admission can be availed by the candidates only under any one category, either N.S.S or N.C.C.

d. Cadets holding A,B,C certificates are eligible for an additional weightage of 3,5,10 marks respectively for admission to Degree courses, limited to a maximum of 10 point

only.

e. The bonus points or additional weightage marks will be given only in the case of those NCC Certificates on the basis of which no grace marks have already been awarded.

5. A bonus / weightage of (10marks) will be given to those who got First place / A grade in the Kerala State Higher Secondary / Vocational Higher Secondary Arts Festivals.

6. 10 marks shall be deducted for every successive attempt after first attempt out of the ranking points to those who have taken two or more chances to complete the qualifying examination, subject to a maximum of 25 marks. The number of chances means the number of chances taken for passing any part or parts of the qualifying examination. Betterment/Improvement of examination will not be considered as a chance.

The principals of all the affiliated colleges are directed to comply with the schedule of admission relevant to UG programmes for the academic year 2016-2017.

The principals of all the affiliated colleges are directed to intimate the details of the SC/ST, OBC, PwD students etc admitted and eligible to submit their scholarship form for the academic year by February, each year.
