WELCA

CALENDAR:

WELCA Board Meeting: NO MEETINGS June, July or August

Naomi Circle: June 9th @ 9:00 am @ Mary Ahen ’s Home

Rebekah Circle: June 9th @ 1:30 pm JoAnn Ring ’s Home

The High Tea was a great success! A fun time was had by all. Charlie Nelson & Cindy Biorn favored

us with songs and Cindy Wilson played the keyboard. The talent of these three is amazing. We thank

them very much.

Our surprise guest was the Royal Queen of England. She was accompanied by her short legged dog!

Her attire was perfect down to the outdated matronly white sandals. Conversation was all about her

perfect life. We learned to never put our purses on the floor or hang them on the chair back. Always—

always on the lap!! She had never baked a cake or put on a pair of sweatpants with a wide elastic

band. Her family was discussed. Favorites were reviewed. Diana was not among them!

If you don’t know who I am telling you about, too bad you missed all the fun. Ask someone who was

there and they will smite and tell you. (t is hard to find words enough to thank her for coming)

I want to give many thanks to everyone who worked to make this a great success in anyway. I will not

name anyone for fear of missing someone. Every single job was important. Just to let you know we

had 15 table of 8 people. Every table looked beautiful! Thanks very, very much.
