What’s right for one audience can be wrong for another.
Different target audiences
Different readers have different buttons
Write for your reader.The message that’s communicated is not necessarily the one you
send - it’s the one your reader gets.
Think about your readers
Who they are How much time they have What they expect How they will read your text What they need What you want them to do
Plan to target your readers Consider their point of view

Readers are more open to positive language
Don’t use the phone for private calls
