What is Desktop Publishing? Desktop Publishing is using a computer and specialized software to produce high-quality printed documents. The user creates page layouts that include text, graphics, photos, and other visual elements. The desktop publishing software that we will use is Microsoft Publisher.

Designs in Microsoft Publisher Desktop publishing software comes with files for many commons documents. These starter files are called templates or designs. Microsoft Publisher has dozens of designs built in to it, for various purposes and objectives.

A Signage or a Flyer Lets create a sign for your room or a flyer to put up around your school Select either a flyer or a sign design in Microsoft Publisher Change the text for your personal use Delete any unwanted elements in the design Move and resize elements Save your document NO need to email it to me, but I will check them on your workstation. Save it in your Unit 2 Publishing folder.
