In ten years, I think I’ll be a reporter. 我想十年后我将成为一名记者。in 和 after 这两个介词都意为“在……以后”。 in 后面的时间段是从现在起延续到将来，常与将来时连用。如：He will come back in three days. 他将于三天后回来。after 后面的时间段以过去为起点，表示过去一段时间以后，常用于过去时的句子中。

after 还可以用来表示在某一具体时间点或某一具体事件以后，谓语动词可以用过去时，也可以用将来时。如：He started after three days. 他三天后出发了。They came back after ten o’clock. 他们是十点以后回来的。We will go there after lunch. 午饭后我们将去那里。
