SPANISH RELIEFMeseta (PLATEAU) covers a lot of the peninsula's interior. It's divided into 2

regions by the Sistema Central (Mountain ranges: Gredos (Almanzor mountain) y

Guadarrama (Peñalara mountain)): Submeseta norte and Submeseta sur.

The Montes de Toledo are in the southern region between Tajo and Guadiana.

Surrounding The Meseta:

-Montes de León and Macizo Galaico (north west).

-Coordillera Cantábrica (Picos de Europa) y Montes Vascos (north).
