UCA Phone for Lync – Edition 3.0 just needs to be installed on PC clients and does not impact the back-end infrastructure at all. The plug-in natively interconnects with MCU servers (e.g Polycom, Tandberg, Scopia) the softphone being seen as a standard video end-point. IT Administrators continue administrating users through Office 365 or Lync servers.

• Preserve Lync 2010/2013 collaboration features

UCA Phone for Lync – Edition 3.0 keeps all native Microsoft Lync collaboration features “as is” such as instant messaging, group chat, presence, desktop sharing and white boarding but also click-to-dial on Outlook contacts and other office products by using the native Lync controls. Unlike other OEM clients we believe that the best IM and Precense is Lync, make it “Brilliant“ with Avaya and our client.
