Remember that there are 2 types of verbs in Spanish…

regular and irregular

There are actually 3 types of regular verbs

in addition to –ar verbs, there are also –erverbs and –ir verbs (which are different

from the verb “ir”)

How to conjugate –er verbs

1. drop the –er ending2. add the matching ending to the stem

of the verb.

-éis

-emos

some –er verbs

aprender – to learnbeber – to drinkcomer – to eat

vender – to sell
