There are actually 3 types of regular verbs

in addition to –ar verbs, there are also –erverbs and –ir verbs (which are different

from the verb “ir”)

How to conjugate –er verbs

1. drop the –er ending2. add the matching ending to the stem

of the verb.

(often used in fixed expressions-like for the weather)

Notice that the yo form is irregular,

but the endings are regular—sometimes this is called a “go verb”
