I am fascinated in learning more to improve and better the future. This is not only reflected in my studies, but also in my attitude and presence in work related
atmospheres. I constantly try to challenge myself with new places, people, and ideas. I believe this is the only way to move forward and grow as designers and people.
ABOUT ME
8THE CULTIVATION OF THE SELF IS REPRESENTED IN OUR WORKAND I BELIEVE IT IS CRUCIAL TO CONTINUE TO
BRANCH OUTSIDE OF OUR BOX TO LEARN AND GROW.I love architecture because it offers a medium by which to investigate culture, society,
and technology all at one time. I work hard to learn as much as I can from every experience, and I am driven to succeed in everything I do.

UNDERSTANDING THE SITE
This project was set along the old industrial train tracks named the SEABOARD AIR LINE. The class was split into 4 groups, each assigned to different portions of the railline. My group addressed the crossing over one of the main roads in Columbia; Taylors Street.
The GOAL of this design project was to create a pedestrian and bike friendly pathway through critical parts of Columbia that have been neglected since the city’s industrial peak.
The crossing over Taylor’s Street was very crucial because of the interaction between Finlay park on the north side, and The Vista on the south side.

11 URBAN CANOPYUNDERSTANDING THE SITE
This project was set in Genova, Italy, during my semester long study abroad trip in the fall of 2011. Genova was a main INDUSTRIAL PORT decades ago, but has since lost its business and importance on the Mediterrean Sea. Because of this, Genova has been working to renovate its port for a stronger focus on living and entertainment.
Our site was an old, abandoned industrial corn storage building on the waterfront of the port.
The GOAL of this design project was to redesign the site by replacing the oldstorage building with residencial and hotel space, while creating an INVITING AND PUBLIC ATMOSPHERE for visitors and locals to enjoy.
To the right are conceptual drawings of the beginning parts of the designprocess for the port. The floor plans were influenced by the traditional Italian housing blocks, and transformed to best utilize views of the port.

21 CELLULAR COMMUNITYUNDERSTANDING THE SITE
This project was set in Chicago, Illinois along the Chicago River. Chicago is known for its range of architecture, especially along the river and inthe style of skyscrapers. To make this designproject interesting, and significantly more challenging, we were assigned to include a VERTICAL FARMING aspect into ourskyscraper. Vertical farming is defined as the cultivation of plant and/or animal life withinskyscrapers or vertically inclined surfaces.
The GOAL of this design project was to create a LIVING SKYSCRAPER through the combination of farming qualities and the vertical qualities of a skyscraper.

Fall semester 2012 I took a class called Pen and Ink with Professor Harritos. In this class we learned how to hand render plans and elevations with aSTRONG VOCABULARY of trees, landscapes, and structures. Each class we brought new sketches and drawings to critique, and learned as a class how to best displaya setting through FREE HAND RENDERING.
