I was lucky to get this shot! I was a passenger in train when this set of Class 39 passed us at

Capital Park.

Welcome

In my possession I only had the above shot of 39-005 when Rudy Venter kindly sent in the

following photographs of Class 29-217. These together with the info we received from Andre

Kritzinger and Lourens Sturgeon is published in the interest of the Railway Fraternity, so

that other “train spotters” and model-builders can share in this joy!
