The Art Gallery focuses on visual arts to engage, inspire and entertain university and community patrons. Artists featured in the art gallery include university art students and local artisans as well as internationally renowned artists. Admission is free. Gallery hours are Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. – noon. The art gallery is on the first floor of the Bayou Building near Atrium I.

CLASP is an outreach initiative of UH-Clear Lake that provides education and intellectual challenge to our community. Admission is free and open to community friends of all ages. No reservations required. Events are held at the following locations:

The “Farewell” Symphony is famous for its unusual ending in which musicians depart the stage one by one, leaving two muted violins to finish the symphony. Enjoy this unique experience alongside Mozart’s Sinfonia Concerante, a concerto for violin and viola.

James Houston Turner Presentation and Book SigningUHCL alumnus and author James Houston Turner will kick off the book tour for his novel, “Department Thirteen,” with a special presentation in the Garden Room and reception and book signing in Atrium I.
