U. S. Army Asymmetric Warfare Group (AWG) Assignments and Qualifications Qualifications for Operational Advisors: Active duty SFC-SGM, senior CPT-LTC. 107 GT score for NCOs, no waivers. Pass the APFT in current age group with no profiles. Able to obtain and maintain up to a top secret clearance. Officers must have completed at least 12 months of command and be a graduate of the CCC. NCOs must have completed at least 24 months of platoon sergeant time or an equivalent assignment. Assessment and Selection for Operational Advisors: Occurs at Fort A.P. Hill, VA in March and September. Requires seven days to complete. Must pass height and weight standard and the APFT. Psychological screening and evaluation. Scenario based evaluation.
