Types of Photography Cameras- Compact digital cameras - Small and relatively

inexpensive, these cameras are popular among beginner photographers. Digital cameras are usually fully automatic and easy to use, but do not provided the quality or control of other types of cameras.

- Digital single range reflex – Referred to as SLR and DSLR cameras, these cameras are larger and heavier than compact digital cameras. SLRs and DSLRs are manual and therefore offer greater control, including the ability to swap out camera lenses.

- Mirrorless cameras - Also known as electronic viewfinder interchangeable lenses, these cameras are more recent and combine the small size of compact digital cameras with the manual control of SLRs and DSLRs.
