Your twitter handle
• Get a user-friendly or authoritative handle
• What and who you are
• Name good for Stephen Fry! Not you!
• Get your personal or corporate brand in handle
• Eg: PRTaker, PropertyJourn, BuyingAgent
• Always have a face as an avatar
Marvellous PR
Be Yourself
• Tweet yourself, even if in corporate role and be yourself
• Someone else tweeting devalues your brand and reputation
• Give some personal info to followers – but not too much!
• Observe twitter etiquette – RTs, ffs, following, DMs, using #s
• Don’ts: angry, drunk, offended, ‘arsey’
