•  Timing  will  depend  on  your  audience,  purpose,  and  objec@ve.    It  is  best  to  tweet  3-‐5  @mes  a  day

Do’s  Mix  up  your  posts  with  an  array  of  tweets

•  Excessive  selling,  self-‐promo@ons,  and  retwee@ng  will  cluDer  people’s  feed  and  turn  them  off  from  what  you  have  to  saying

•  TwiDer  has  its  own  voice  and  should  not  be  linked  with  other  social  networks.

•  If  something  has  a  link  make  sure  you  include  it  within  the  post

•  Hashtags  can  be  a  useful  tool,  but  use  them  sparingly.    Regularly  including  three  or  more  hashtags  in  your  tweets  means  people  will  probably  start  overlooking  them,  because  they  tend  to  look  like  spam  and  are  harder  to  read  quickly.

Don’ts  Overdo  it

Link  to  other  pla]orms

Use  too  many  hashtags
