TÜV Rheinland (India) Pvt Ltd-Bangalore 19630075.001 1403016154-1

Summary of testing:

"According to the enquiry of the manufacturer for a Type approval basic qualification acc. to EN IEC 61730 should be performed for a Crystalline photovoltaic module type family and also along with additional Junction Box from Ekilner and frame adhesive tape (TESA 62510),the basic qualification and major tests have been performed on the module Type ASE72P290 and the results were incorporated in this report: 19630075.001 History of certification: N/A

Remark: All the tests of the EN IEC-61730 standards have been performed on representative worst case designed modules. The module type chosen for this task was ASE72Pxxx

Modules of same type but with smaller dimensions (less than 72 cells) are covered by the qualification testing. The difference to the module type ASE72Pxxx is the smaller dimensions and fewer cells per Bypass diodes.

It is therefore declared that photovoltaic modules of the module type ASE72Pxxx fulfil the requirements of the standard IEC 61730-2:2004/EN-61730-2:2007 without the fire test MST23 and it is recommended that issue of certificate should be granted.

Summary of test locations:

All tests were performed at TUV Rheinland(India) Pvt Ltd-Bangalore with the exception of the following tests:

The Fire Test (MST 23) is not conducted.

Summary of compliance with national differences:

Main reference for qualification testing is EN 61730-2:2007. All tests of the IEC 61730:2004 standard were passed* according to its regulations of the pass criteria. As in the adoption of this standard to the European version (EN 61730:2007) the test criteria (IEC 61730-2) were not changed, the results of this qualification can cover both standards, as long as Application Class A is used. It is therefore declared, that the photovoltaic modules of the aforementioned types fulfil the requirements of the safety standard IEC 61730: 2004 and EN 61730:2007, Application Class A, and it is recommended that certification should be granted
